Cody liked pancakes and without complaining sat on the couch, which doubled as his mother’s bed, and turned on the t.v. “You might not be, but I’m gay, and, um, I love you,” blurted out Cody. Just as Cody had predicted, Zack came out of their room, fully dressed, around midday. They laughed a lot and then when it ended, Maddie got the boys to shower and get in their pajamas. “Really?” questioned Zack, who knew Cody was right, “then, how come I woke up this morning and both of my hands were by my side?”
