I looked at Mr Dickerson, “the feds will not provide protection?”
He shook his head, “they said I am not important enough.”
I smiled and looked at Megan as she walked closer, “I could call in a few favors.”
He smiled, “favors?”
I shrugged, “there are a few people that owe me.”
Megan surprised us both when she stopped and kissed me.
