When I finally got back to where I started I was absolutely shattered, I could hardly stand up. Poor Martin, he was so embarrassed, even though he was a bit drunk. His reply didn’t make much sense to me, but just for a bit of a laugh I said, “I bet the red car wins.” Jon took me up on the bet, which I eventually lost. I remember slipping out of the hands and falling onto the floor once. Jon gave me 5 strokes in quick succession. It was a rugby club, but I’ve no idea where.
